Overview:

Join Safe-Guard as a leader to make a lasting impact on our dynamic, forward-focused Marketing and Sales Enablement Department. In this crucial role, you will craft marketing strategies and provide innovative, content-driven solutions for over 65 client partner brands in the fast-paced automotive, RV, powersports, and marine industries.

Reporting directly to the CMO, you will lead a team of marketing strategists while collaborating closely with the Creative Director, the creative team, clients, and external vendors and partners to strategize and execute marketing initiatives aligned with our ambitious corporate growth goals.

Drive the Omnichannel Movement

With marketing technology and AI platforms currently redefining consumer expectations, leverage your expertise to create seamless omnichannel shopping and buying experiences for clients in the auto, RV, powersports, and marine sectors.

Your talent for recognizing business opportunities and understanding B2C and B2B marketing will help us propel dealer engagement and elevate consumer awareness and acquisition for our branded vehicle protection products.

Position Objective

As Marketing Director, you will champion digital and traditional marketing support for Safe-Guard and our clients. Your responsibilities will span client marketing relationship management, strategic guidance, program management, and marketing initiative development. You will effectively collaborate across all internal departments and with external vendor partners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, train, and mentor a growing team internal marketing staff and collaborate with 20+ external vendor partners and consultants
  • Support Safe-Guard's strategic initiatives to drive sustainable and scalable growth via Account Based Marketing
  • Nurture relationships with Safe-Guard Account Management and Sales teams to reveal sales and marketing opportunities
  • Deliver exceptional marketing services within deadlines to assigned clients
  • Proactively identify business opportunities and propose marketing and sales enablement solutions
  • Supervise strategic planning and implementation of marketing solutions for new client launches and refreshed content needs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Present work directly to senior leadership as well as internal and external clients
  • Craft persuasive business cases to secure client support and implementation of recommendations
  • Exhibit project and department results to internal and external clients
  • Contribute to customer-centric solutions for digitizing protection product awareness, education, and the buying process
  • Develop Safe-Guard's digital strategy, establish priorities, obtain resources and organizational alignment, and lead cross-functional execution
  • Boost sales by staying up to date on emerging industry trends, MarTech, and serving as a subject matter expert and thought leader
  • Ensure adherence to brand and corporate identity guidelines in program execution.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Safe-Guard's corporate marketing strategy and support

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years in marketing roles, with a focus on strategic marketing planning and execution
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, and best practices across various channels
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns that drive business growth and brand awareness
  • Experience in team management, providing leadership, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO/SEM, social media, content marketing, and marketing automation platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive marketing decisions
  • Creative thinking and a passion for innovation, staying updated on emerging marketing trends and technologies
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check
