We’re looking for a Director, Marketing, Customer Advocacy, to capture and highlight the successes of our customers across external and internal channels, influencers, media and analysts and scale our customer advocacy program.
You will have a tight pulse on our happiest of customers, build lasting relationships and have creative ideas for recruiting and generating engagement of our customer base. Being cross-functional is in your DNA as you work closely with Events, Sales, Demand Gen, PR and Product Marketing teams to weave advocacy into every dimension of our engagement.
A key responsibility of this role is the management of NICE’s customer reference program, focused on accelerating the sales cycle and supporting the public voice of the customer in thought leadership and PR activities. You will also lead a team dedicated to the creation and evangelism of customer success through videos and written case studies.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with team members across the globe and at all levels to drive customer interactions that surface key business value-oriented use cases and outcomes. You are a problem solver who is proactive, analytical and innovative in approaching customers and capturing stories.
What You Will Bring to NICE
- Brilliant communication through storytelling
- 5+ years’ experience in customer advocacy/marketing programs
- A passion for customer success and amplifying their stories to external audiences
- An effective collaborator with experience working closely with sales to nurture customer advocates
- Strong relationship management skills, including external stakeholders and cross-functional business contacts
- A track record of prioritizing, planning and executing marketing and communications strategies that meet overall business goals
- Ability to balance multiple projects with varying deadlines

The ideal candidate knows the mechanics behind a world class advocacy program, has an ownership mentality and proven ability to meet deadlines, work collaboratively with others and ensure high quality deliverables. You have experience in building strong working relationships both internally and externally, quickly establishing trust and credibility, particularly with executives in strategic customer accounts. You’ll be pushed to work faster, more thoughtful, and better every day.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Define customer advocacy metrics/goals/benchmarks and track/report progress against them
- Establish and maintain scalable process to identify and create customer case studies, video testimonials, references and quotes
- Support events, such as webinars and conferences, by inviting client speakers and supporting their slides and talk tracks
- Maintain a repository of customer references, statistics and user-generated content
