Who You Are:
As Nutrabolt's Director of Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for owning, leading, and managing the go-to-market process for the Nutrabolt marketing team, across all functions, brands and products. You will be a key part of the Marketing leadership team, working seamlessly with the other functional leaders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of all consumer facing campaigns. You will own internal and external gates and dates, and constantly be working to improve efficient and effective creation and delivery of work.
What You're Good At:
- Partnering within the Stage Gate process (product development and commercialization), ensuring that marketing timelines are in-sync with the broader process, and ensuring the team is meeting all key deadlines & deliverables
- Developing and implementing an effective and efficient go-to-market process for Nutrabolt marketing that includes/accounts for all cross-functional needs
- Owning that go-to-market process, including all meetings, gates, dates, deliverables, schedules – and working with the key marketing and cross-functional leaders to ensure active and timely participation/contribution in and to that process
- Constantly looking for ways to improve the GTM process for greater efficiency and effectiveness – being the champion for internal marketing productivity. Processing improvements, time-saving measures, and more effective communication across functions
- Work with the Creative and Brand strategy teams to include all agency deliverables and processes/budgets in the GTM system – sync internal and external schedules to ensure on-time delivery of integrated marketing campaigns
- Managing and monitoring marketing budgets at the highest level – working with key budget owners (brand strategy/experience/social/creative) to keep constant watch on how and when marketing money is spent and report regularly to the CMO and key marketing leaders.
- Be the glue that binds key marketing functions together, constantly looking for ways to integrate work, connect the dots, bring cross-functional partners into the process (EMEA/Int’l/Field/Shopper/DTC/etc).
- Managing a team of operational experts who dive deep into the internal creative processes and managing a flow of work into and out of the creative department (focus on Design (Wrike), Content, and production). Constantly be optimizing and evolving the team, structure
- and approach of operations for Nutrabolt.
- Create, implement and own the internal creative review process across Marketing Leadership, and extend the process as needed to other ELT members and the CEO.
- In this role your goals and KPIs will be focused around:
- Marketing productivity and efficiency
- Budget management and value creation
- Cross-functional and creative team process improvement
What You Contribute:
- Has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field.
- 5-10+ years of operational experience at an agency or CPG / beverage company, background in project management, transformation management and traffic preferred. 3+ years of operational leadership and a proven track record of implementing/improving broad marketing systems and processes
- Organized, efficient, and strategic approach with the ability to think broadly across the Enterprise
- Proven experience leading by influence, understanding multiple agendas, and bringing disparate parties together into one unified process
- Has an innate curiosity, aptitude, and hands-on approach with an Entrepreneurial mindset – an ability to create substance out of ambiguity and establish and best-in-class operational practice from scratch.
- A deep understanding of how a modern marketing organization works and can navigate a matrixed brand management system
- Strong communicator, is able to speak comfortably and clearly to key stakeholders and department leads
- The energy and drive to deliver the best work in the industry and an adaptability to a range of time and budget constraints.
- A self-starter attitude with a strong aptitude for solving problems individually and in teams, with the ability to propose alternative, improved solutions when possible.
