About the Role:

The Director of Marketing Operations will streamline the team’s operations, as well as drive forward marketing priorities and agenda. They will be the essential connection point from our Tubi Marketing Team to internal core teams: Finance, Content, Business Operations and Product and our FOX partners to ensure alignment, learnings, and input on GTM plans that unlock synergy and streamline operations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of innovative projects and campaigns that bring our brand to life. The ideal candidate must possess experience in integrated marketing, building digital experiences, and stellar cross-functional communication skills. They will have an eye for detail, meticulously manage a budget, and are relentless in their search for efficiency. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Be a thought partner and advisor: provide open and honest feedback, be a funnel of information, act as a sounding board for new ideas and initiatives. 
  • Pave the way for effective decision-making: brief the CMO and lay groundwork for internal and external meetings, create relevant documents and materials. If necessary do market, region, or functional effectiveness audits on process, staff, and strategy so that a sound decision can be made quickly. 
  • Ensure that work that is excellent, on time, on budget AND goes beyond the brief. Establish project plans and processes that drive things forward. Consistently hold cross-functional teams accountable for delivering on required project inputs and aid in resolving obstacles interfering with project success factors. Motivate, direct and challenge teams to produce great work. 
  • Streamline communication and process by setting up appropriate structure and tools to ensure successful collaboration and engagement across teams/vendors. Electing cross-functional “squads” and assign RACIs for priority growth projects holding them accountable to deliver on-time and in-full. 
  • Own budget planning, estimation, tracking, and financial accruals. Build detailed project proposals and manage resource allocations across the marketing team in partnership with finance and accounting. Drive positive project and program financials and ensure all risks are escalated. 
  • Support ongoing staffing decisions and resource management. Manage all vendor relations: media platforms, agencies, freelancers, and partners from RFP to contract negotiation with input from the marketing and legal team. 
  • Co-lead Marketing’s strategic pillars: work with each functional team to define operational objectives, ensure team is focused on the right projects that drive growth, steer them in right direction when needed and remove obstacles/distractions. 
  • Provide support for Annual Planning, Forecasting/OKRs, and QBRs with internal and external partners. 

Requirements: 

  • 14+ years of integrated marcomms experience in a consumer tech organization 
  • Experience organizing and directing cross-functional teams, has “hands” on marketing experience across creative and technical functions 
  • Solid understanding of streaming business model and competitive landscape 
  • Lived or worked in an international market outside of the US 
  • Effective analytic communicator both visually and verbally 
  • Proven track record in driving creative solutions and digital content creation.
  • Knowledge of social and mobile content creation and requirements for different channels.
  • Experience working on large-scale integrated, omnichannel programs with multiple parallel work streams and diverse teams (UX, Product, Strategy, Creative, Media, and Analytics). 
  • Financial rigor managing large scale budgets in close relationship with accounting and finance teams.
  • High EQ and the ability to read what a team needs to help motivate them.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive plan, and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
