How You Will Make an Impact

  • Director, Marketplace will oversee all sales and marketing efforts on marketplace platforms for an established business with more than 20+ active skus
  • Build forecasts and budgets to drive business expansion and gain desired results
  • Manage external agencies, managing direct reports, and build team within an organization
  • Director, Marketplace will develop a vision and execute expansion goals and timing to enter Target.com, Walgreens.com, CVS.com, VitaminShoppe.com, GNC.com, Kroger.com, and more
  • Build and manage an internal digital marketplace team, working hands-on within the platform to achieve goals, lead by example
  • Director, Marketplace will make product pricing proposals and create price down 52 week promo calendar for portfolio and brand in conjunction with brand managers and marketing leadership
  • Plan, organize and manage the strategy of portfolio marketing to achieve goals in the marketplace including promotional calendar by time of year, product line goals, etc.
  • Director, Marketplace will create new operating procedures, team roles & responsibilities, KPIs, performance reporting and dashboards for the digital marketplace function

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital, Business, Marketing, Communications preferred, or equivalent work experience required
  • 10+ years of experience in digital sales and marketing on .com and specifically marketplaces with CPG brands required; Supplements/vitamins a plus
  • Experience managing teams who manage daily business of multiple key marketplace platforms in North America is required
  • Strong background working in a high budget D2C CPC role with a CPG ecommerce environment preferred
  • Deep experience managing ecommerce, digital marketing, and customer journey profiles
  • Experience establishing new measures, processes, procedures, forecasts methods, and reporting
  • Ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of a campaign as well as the overall E-tail strategy
  • Data-driven with strong track record of using analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive growth for direct-to-consumer subscription product/service
