How You Will Make an Impact
- Director of Marketplace will oversee all sales and marketing efforts on e-commerce platforms for established products and for new products
- Develop a vision and execute the expansion into marketplaces using understanding of Amazon, Walmart.com, Target, Walgreens, CVS, VitaminShoppe, GNC, Kroger, and more.
- Director of Marketplace will build and manage an internal digital marketplace team, working hands-on within the platform to support and mentor direct reports; Manage an outside agency
- Director of Marketplace will create new operating procedures, team roles & responsibilities, KPIs, performance reporting and dashboards for the digital marketplace function
- Maximize Sales, ROAS, ROI, TACOS, etc, by using experiences and best-methods to manage listings of all products in the portfolio, setting promotional calendar by time of year, proposing pricing architecture, etc
- Director of Marketplace will collaborate with internal production and content development teams on digital ads and content that support the key stages of the consumer purchase funnel from brand awareness and product consideration to purchase intent and conversion, appropriate for each platform
- Work with teams throughout the organization to educate, collaborate and guide for the strategy for the future of digital marketplace
- Director of Marketplace will build forecasts and budgets, and regularly analyze and present results and adjustments
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree in Digital, Business, Marketing, Communications preferred, or equivalent work experience required
- 10+ years of experience in digital sales and marketing on .com and specifically marketplaces with CPG brands required; Supplements/vitamins a plus
- Experience managing teams who manage daily business of multiple key marketplace platforms in North America is required
- Strong background working in a high budget D2C CPC role with a CPG ecommerce environment preferred
- Deep experience managing ecommerce, digital marketing, and customer journey profiles
- Experience establishing new measures, processes, procedures, forecasts methods, and reporting
- Ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of a campaign as well as the overall E-tail strategy
- Data-driven with strong track record of using analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive growth for direct-to-consumer subscription product/service
