Position Summary: The Director National Program Management plays a critical role in ensuringsuccessful delivery and execution of customer programs and projects by providing the support necessary for Program Management and Service Delivery to achieve their target. This leader is responsible for (1) Reporting, (2) Analytics (3) Support Services (including Customer System Interface, Processes, Standards, Training and Communication & Service Sales Costing.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct Monitor and control results by continually tracking, reviewing, adjusting and reporting on Program performance
  • Partner with Business Performance to establishes standards, processes and controls in alignment with customer objectives and requirements and Crown Castle's business needs
  • Drives continuous improvement and monitors operational compliance by establishing consistent, clear and actionable reporting, and addressing improvement opportunities through coaching and training, or refinements to standards, processes and tools/templates
  • Monitors current and future customer activity and partners with Delivery and Sales organization to ensure proper resource and capability planning and prioritization related to delivery of customer program and projects
  • Leads cost estimation, initiation and planning of customer programs and supports Sales through opportunity stage
  • Defines and monitors KPI's to ensure cross-functional alignment and successful delivery of customer program and projects across the full delivery lifecycle
  • Drives clear, consistent, and timely enterprise-wide reporting for Senior Leadership and delivery teams with actionable observations and recommendations, with particular focus on risk mitigation and issues resolution
  • Drives communication and decision-making cross-functionally and with senior leaders on integrated program planning and implementation including, but not limited, to matters such as risks, issues, and prioritizations
  • Supports the identification, implementation and troubleshooting of organizational, processes and systems matters internally and externally with customer processes and systems
  • Support Customer programs with Utility Relations including, escalation resolution, risk management and utility standards
  • Leads and develops a team of managers and teammates, including hiring, performance management and coaching

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • PMP or comparable certifications preferred


Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Ten (10)+ yearsof experience driving complex operational projects utilizing project management principles (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, etc.)
  • Five (5)+ years of leading cross-functional teams through change
  • Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring complex processes and controls


Organizational Relationship

Reports to: VP Pre-Construction Services

Title(s) of direct reports (if applicable): Sr Managers and Managers

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). This position requires up to 25% travel.
