The Paid Media and Demand Generation role manages digital marketing projects and processes with the objective of building and sustaining presence in digital channels, and increasing revenue and profitability. Under limited supervision, this job works to develop and improve web content and creation, search engine optimization (SEO), and social media marketing processes to attract potential customers to company websites.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Works to support the development and implementation of digital marketing efforts to build and sustain presence in digital channels and to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Manages the creation, maintenance, and publishing of digital marketing content for both company and non-company websites and social media platforms, ensuring content and display support marketing initiatives to meet business goals.
  • Researches and creates original content and coordinates internally developed content from other areas of the company based on target customer profiles.
  • Performs website editorial activities to ensure all digital marketing content is high quality, up-to-date, and consistent with brand and style guidelines.
  • Locates and negotiates the purchase of external content to advance the organization's digital marketing content library.
  • Optimizes digital marketing content and text to drive high search engine rankings.
  • Applies advanced digital marketing knowledge to drive sales through online channels and shares best practices and insights with the digital marketing team to advance the organization's digital platforms.

The Nuveen Social Media Program Manager will develop and own the Nuveen global social media program strategy that focuses on empowering and enabling Nuveen associates to leverage social media to expand brand reach, compliantly promote products and services and engage clients and prospects. This role reports to the Head of Social Media Programs and works closely with other members of the social media team as well as Nuveen client marketing, key sales stakeholders, global teams, thought leadership and brand leadership team in order to create, manage and execute on social media content and campaign priorities. The manager will create and manage content and deliver strategic social best practices for all business partners. The manager will drive collaboration across partners to deliver social media content that favorably influences perception of the global Nuveen brand and helps support business and sales specific initiatives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and manage Nuveen's social media program strategy to deliver a balance of brand, product, sales enablement and thought leadership messages in support of overall marketing strategy and organization goals in creative and engaging ways. The strategy must be specific to different geo and global goals.
  • Partner with key sales teams and business partners to build a social media sales enablement program, including content creation, campaign building, engagement strategy, best in class social selling and success reporting.
  • Owning the social program content strategy, including creation and management:
    • Publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content specific to global partners.
    • Create a regular publishing schedule and implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
    • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
    • Design, conduct and deliver standard and custom social media reports including campaign results
  • Partner with compliance to define the Nuveen social engagement and conversation strategy, supporting supervision of all aspects of social media interaction between customers and associates to ensure a positive experience.
  • Monitor social media competitive landscape, producing insight reports and ad-hoc requests on how other peers are using associate programs
  • Stay abreast of current technology, social media, advertising and content marketing trends to keep abreast of potential opportunities for Nuveen
  • Establish goals and metrics for measuring and benchmarking efforts

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 - 8 years marketing experience, with a focus in social media marketing
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and peers
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, specifically around presentations; creative thinker
  • Effective time management and project management skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement social media strategies beyond just earning likes and followers
  • Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms, including; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit and TikTok
  • Proficient in variety of social media search, analysis and content distribution tools (Hearsay, HootSuite, etc.)

Base Pay Range: $124,100/yr. - $145,300/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
