ROLE
We are looking for a Director of Account Management to be a key member of Bevi’s Sales and Marketing team. In this role, you and your team of four to six Account Managers will own all existing accounts, ongoing relationships, revenue growth through expansion, account strategy and churn management. You and your team are a critical face of Bevi throughout the post-sales customer journey. From onboarding to implementation to renewal - your team will be responsible to create and implement account plans to and set the account for additional growth. You will be overseeing the success and growth of your team’s assigned accounts, as well as the continuous improvement of team performance, best practices and measurements. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own revenue growth of Bevi’s existing accounts
- Lead, measure, coach and develop the Account Management team
- Develop and implement account management best practices and tools
- Report to management on major activities and risks within the account portfolio
- Responsible for revenue growth strategies including expansion sales, increased usage and churn mitigation
- Build relationships with customers and ensure continuous engagement
- Demonstrate Bevi’s value to customers on an ongoing basis
- Bring the voice of the customer internally to support the organization
- Work cross-functionally within Bevi to deliver best in class service to Bevi customers
Requirements
- At least 10 years experience as an Account Manager/Customer Success Manager/Customer Relationship Manager
- At least 3 years experience in leading an Account Management Team, including hiring top talent and team development
- Experience in developing and implementing account management best practices, procedures and tools
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to quickly adjust and contribute to evolving needs, structuring and planning
- Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills
- Proven creative problem-solving approach
- Proficiency with SalesForce or other CRM software
- Excited by the challenges of a fast-paced, mission-driven company set on disrupting the beverage industry
The following are pluses, but not requirements:
- Experience with food & beverage products and/or IoT products
- Experience marketing/selling through distributors or channel partners
- Experience in Series B to Series D stage companies
LOCATION
Boston preferred. Or metro New York City or metro Washington DC with frequent travel to Boston
