Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director, Account Management to lead the day to day management of the Account Management team. You should have experience leading Account Management or Customer Success organizations in SaaS or cybersecurity environments and will be responsible for improving efficiency and predictability, and identifying recurring areas for improvement. Reporting to the VP of Global Revenue, this person will work closely with cross functional leaders, specifically marketing and product to refine processes & build comprehensive GTM strategies to achieve desired results. Additionally, the Director of Account Management will work to manage the performance of existing partners and develop strategies to improve recurring revenue.Â
What You'll Be Doing:Â
- A strong understanding of how to build account plans and track individual performance and output against those plans.
- Build and mentor a high velocity Account Management team
- Establish training programs to upskill employees around renewal, upsell, and negotiation processes
- Experience implementing and refining sales methodologies to adapt to the environment in which we work.Â
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop & execute retention initiatives
- Review and manage existing customers and present accurate monthly & quarterly forecasts of existing pipeline on both expansion and renewals
- Provide market feedback to the executive management team and identify opportunities that enhance our business and revenue
About You:Â
- Ability to take compass level direction and create a GPS level plan to executeÂ
- Proven experience (8+ years) with at least 5 years leading Customer Success or Account Management teams preferably in SaaS or cybersecurity.
- Insight into market trends, with an ability to think strategically and pivotÂ
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Process oriented
- Change agent
