Position Overview
As the Director of Affiliate Account Management,Ā the successful candidate will oversee the account management team and strategic partnerships that serve consumers and work closely with the strategy, compliance and legal teams in executing successful partner onboarding and optimization.Ā
Responsibilities
- Personally manage Selfās top affiliate partnerships in a variety of verticals that serve consumersĀ
- Support sales in onboarding and transition of new affiliate partnerships into account managementĀ
- Develop and implement account management best-practices for successful onboarding, retention, and growth of affiliate partnerships.
- Lead project execution across multiple business functions including affiliate account management, and business development, marketing/communications and product management.
- Develop and deliver affiliate account management reporting to leadership (growth, opportunity pipeline, forecast, performance, results, attrition, budget, risk)
- Lead business conversations with key decision makers internally and externally.
- Recognize and share trends in the market and be fully knowledgeable of competitive activities to regularly communicate information to the sales and leadership team.
- In this role, you will lead, coach and manage our Account Management team to meet and exceed their goals to onboard, optimize, nurture and retain our partnerships.Ā Ā
- Establish activity metrics and goals, and measure individual and team performance to ensure achievement of goals.
- Use analytical problem solving and data tools to advise customers regarding program development, optimization & growth, as well as market strategies.
- Present, review and collaborate with affiliate partners on marketing campaigns.Ā
- Create a fun, exciting, high-service and results-oriented culture internally and externally.Ā
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of company products/services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
- Ensure partner information and activities are logged and accounted for in company CRM
Qualifications
The successful candidate will exhibit capabilities including:
- 4+ years of experience in managing a team.
- 6+ years of experience in Affiliate Account Management roles at companies building consumer facing products
- Deep experience working with Impact Radius or other affiliate / partnership management platforms
- Fintech, credit, banking and or general financial services experience a plus
- Strong professional network within multiple consumer app verticals is a plus
- Experience engaging with VP and C-level executives of partner organizations
- Proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding account management goals
- Experience working with partners and cross-functional teams to ship and drive usage of products
- Excellent ability to work independently (in-person or remotely) as well as in a team environment
- Demonstrated strategic thinking
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Salesforce, and Impact a plus
- Periodic travelĀ
