Job Description

This role will play an integral part in the supervision of the company’s day-to-day operations. We are seeking someone with prior operations/office management experience with an emphasis on accounting, financial analysis/projections, profit/loss management and operations management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in an ad/marketing/PR agency environment. This is a hybrid position working both remotely and on-site in New York.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Liaison with clients and outside vendors in regards to SOWs, invoicing, PO numbers, collections, contracts, etc.

  • Manage the billing and collections / accounts receivable process, using both Quickbooks and Excel.

  • Monthly cash flow analysis (Accounts Payable and Receivable, Collections Reports, and P&L).
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO as needed

  • Manage expense reimbursements and client bill backs

  • Ensure that all project budgets are comprehensive and accurately entered into Quickbooks. 

  • Track project P&L

  • Assess all expenses to ensure efficiency and negotiate rates were applicable

  • Plan team building & company culture initiatives and internal communications.

  • Work closely with human resources on employee and freelancer recruitment.

  • Oversight of employee onboarding and off-boarding process

  • Liaise with all service providers and vendors to ensure outstanding service 

  • Purchase all new equipment and manage various service contracts.

  • Oversee all facilities issues and liaise with building management

Qualifications

  • Previous accounting, finance and office management/operational experience

  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, Word, and G-Suite 

  • Expertise in financial management

  • A strategic thinker and multi-tasker with the ability to focus on daily details and operational issues

  • Organized individual who anticipates, with an emphasis on thoroughness and follow through.

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills

  • People person who is comfortable working in a collaborative environment, both in-person and remotely

Additional Information

Brigade offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a generous paid time off package. Compensation $90,000 plus depending on experience.
