We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Director of Analytics. The Director of Analytics will focus on the ExecOnline digital journey beginning with the marketing funnel through the participant product experience. ​​To be successful, this candidate will be required to create strong partnerships & communicate clearly to senior leaders across multiple functions of the organization.

In this role you will:

  • Be a strategic problem-solver, breaking down complex and ambiguous issues, formulating and testing hypotheses, developing, communicating, and executing recommendations
  • Conduct high impact business analysis using descriptive, predictive and other statistical techniques to provide thought leadership and analytical deliverables to inform and enhance strategic business decisions
  • Develop and co-own functional roadmaps to power the company through effective, scalable and data-driven capabilities with consistent measurable goals
  • Build deep and lasting relationships and lead by influence with stakeholders across the business to deliver sustainable business impact through, tight collaboration during development and deployment, as well as end-to-end ownership of analytical projects and deliverables
  • Understand how customers interact online from marketing to product journeys to use strategic thinking and innovation to create a truly frictionless digital experience through partnering with Marketing and Product teams to explore, develop and embed streamlined and automated capabilities
  • Identify growth and customer lifetime value opportunities through a deep understanding of acquisition & retention performance/drivers, customer segments, & forward-looking business models/monetization strategies
  • Communicating and building inspiration by educating and motivating others to move forward through effective structured communication and storytelling.
  • Be results oriented with the ability wear several "hats" to identify bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies and drive measurable impact and results

What positions you for success:

  • 7-10 years professional experience in applying advanced/predictive analytics in the fields of strategic consulting, marketing, technology, or product
  • Experience successfully leading a team as an active contributor to deliver successful outcomes to business partners
  • Detail-oriented individual who can understand, manipulate, and prepare complex models and analyses from large and complex datasets
  • Strong proficiency delivering advanced analytics/models using a tool like Python or R, SQL
  • Ability to identify untapped business opportunity and communicate analytics approach that generates significant customer or business impact
  • Proven ability to formulate hypotheses around category and business opportunities and a strong bias for proving or disproving those hypotheses
  • A catalyst and a change agent that champions innovative analytical approaches to business growth that generates durable advantage
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams to translate business strategies and objectives into successful customer and financial outcomes
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proven track record of communicating effectively, telling stories with data, instilling confidence, educating, and motivating multiple stakeholders at varying levels
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

At ExecOnline, we are committed to fair, equitable, and competitive compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $160,000-$180,000. During the interview process, total compensation will be determined in alignment with market data, team equity, and the experience & capabilities of each candidate
