Reports ToSenior Vice President, Fleet SalesWhat You Will Be Doing

As our Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for the development of new customer relationships as well as new strategies that capture the emerging EV Software. You will work alongside teams of Solution Engineers, Product Managers and Project Managers to execute programs and offerings that place ChargePoint in the leadership position of designing and implementing solutions. The DBD position focuses on complex Software integrations such as Driver Experience Network, Fleet Software integrations, API integrations, CPO and EMSP deployment. Segments include National Accounts (Fortune 100), Commercial Real Estate, Federal and Local Govt. Being part of ChargePoint means you need to be ready to act flexibly in a fast-paced and high-intensity work environment.

Responsibilities: 
  • Determine a long-term Sales strategy together with the Leadership Team
  • Develop go-to-market offerings for large segments of customers.
  • Break through key accounts and targeted segments
  • Set goals and milestones for your support team and derive sustainable measures.
  • Recognize growth potential and target new sales opportunities.
  • Show a holistic and sustainable approach to overseeing our customers in their contracts.
  • Act as a thought leader and don’t shy away from being hands-on together with your team.
  • Optimize current processes, recognize potential, and develop new processes.
What you bring: 
  • High level of critical, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
  • National Sales Experience selling to C level decision makers
  • 15+ years of experience in a B2B Sales position with software experience
  • Proven experience in leading a Sales team (also remotely)
  • Experience in software, telematics and or connected fleet experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced scale-up environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Willing to travel up to 50%
  • Proven record to think strategically and being on top of things.
  • Willing to do hands-on sales
  • Capable of understanding complicated Software and Integrated solutions

Location

US Remote 

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $119,250 to $198,500. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
