As the Director of Business Development, your mission is to lead Myrious Group’s sales strategy, drive agency revenue, and nurture relationships with marketing leaders. You will work hand in hand with our agencies, marketing teams, and leadership to uncover new business opportunities and develop outreach strategies that open doors to new horizons.
What you’ll do:
Drive Myrious Group agency revenue, focusing on acquiring new Agency of Record clients and skillfully promoting the agency’s narrative
Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with client executives and buyers, establishing a foundation for success collaboration
Collaborate closely with agency leadership, marketing, growth, and new business teams to craft and implement outreach strategies that expand our reach beyond existing client relationships
Assume a pivotal role within a dedicated team, leading and managing the Myrious RFI/RFP submission process
Identify, nurture, and foster mutually beneficial relationships within our industry verticals, leveraging your network and connecting with potential customers and their teams
Embrace a proactive mindset, continuously generating innovative ideas and identifying opportunities to foster Myrious Group’s growth
Present persuasive and engaging pitches that effectively convey the unique value of Myrious Group’s solutions to our clients
Take the lead in negotiating and finalizing contracts, managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract signing, in close collaboration with our COO and other key partners
 What you bring:
Over 8 years of experience in sales within marketing consulting, agency products, or marketing services businesses
A proven track record of success in digital marketing lead generation support services, contributing to revenue growth through sales and marketing alignment
Demonstrated expertise in selling cross-functional services across multiple channels
Results-oriented mindset with a self-starter attitude, capable of working independently and achieving ambitious targets
Dynamic personality capable of effectively engaging and influencing a variety of audiences
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and schedules
Successful track record of aligning internal departments under separate leaders
Salesforce.com expertise is preferred
Solution-oriented, with creative thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of marketing services processes
Demonstrated presentation skills, both written and verbal
Effective leadership and organizational skills, capable of managing, mentoring, and inspiring teams to create a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth
Ability to travel as needed (approximately 15% - 30%)
