Director of Business Human Resources

The Role: 

Meati is seeking a Director, Business Human Resources, to support our topline and corporate functions. This HR leader will be the strategic Human Resources Business Partner for the Corporate Functions, R&D and Commercial teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing organizational strategies that align structure, culture, and talent with business goals while coaching people leaders. There is plenty of variety in this role. Today, you will work on driving organizational effectiveness to ensure a “fit for purpose” structure. Tomorrow, you might be identifying the future leadership pipeline and partnering with leaders to identify appropriate development actions or build out engagement plans to increase team effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Leads and deploys the People & Culture agenda for the business, including  strategic programs, actions, and initiatives that enable the delivery of the business strategy
• Serves as a strategic business partner, consulting with executives and senior leaders on organization design and development
• Coaches executives and senior leaders to facilitate achievement of established business objectives through effective people management
• Utilizes deep talent and organizational effectiveness knowledge and experience to act as a coach to the organization and build capability to enable a high performance, agile organization, great people and winning culture
• Leads annual talent management processes across the business, including Performance Management, Compensation Planning, Talent Strategy, Succession Planning and Employee Engagement
• Partners with Talent Acquisition on sourcing strategies and execution needed to address key talent gaps (critical leadership roles, proactive sourcing/market mapping to address succession gaps, critical skill sets, leadership pipeline programs, etc.)
• Partners with Learning & Development on development and execution of programs associated with leadership development, people leader effectiveness, onboarding, mentoring, etc.
• Enables strategic talent management practices such as early identification, understanding individual employee motivators, associated development and retention, career acceleration assignments, reward and recognition, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7+ years progressive experience in Human Resources, partnering with Senior level Business Executives.

Preferred Skills and Experiences

• Master’s Degree.
• Prior HR Business Partner, talent management experience.
• Business Acumen: Uses extensive knowledge and insight about the business to fully engage in business discussions and lead People Excellence strategy to improve talent and business outcomes.
• Strategic Partner: Develops effective relationships with clients by building trust, leveraging networks, applying HR expertise, and measuring and ensuring business results.
• Organizational Effectiveness: Creates an effective and strong organization by utilizing organizational diagnosis tools, leveraging organization design principles, and building organization capabilities in line with Meati’s core values to win against the competition.
• Data-driven Insights: Applies data analytics and judgment to draw insights that inform business decision making.
• Coach: Uses coaching and influencing skills to drive change and leaders’ ownership/accountability successfully.
• Change Champion: Partners to lead and sustain change creating an agile and high growth organization.

Compensation:

Range starts at $135-$184K including a potential annual bonus and equity. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
