Director of Business Solutions, Finance
Job Description
- Oversee the management of personnel and activities for assigned department, by managing and maintaining a diverse team of highly skilled business solutions analysts who have Oracle Cloud and Oracle EBS R12 and several ancillary systems to support the Finance and Projects groups. These systems include the following: Vertex, Virtual Trader, Basware, Tracker 2, Orion, Trading Partner Hub, HR, HCM.
- Provide strategic direction and develop, implement and monitor the goals, objectives, priorities, and procedures relating to the organizational unit.
- Present and collaborate with all levels of the business on new global designs for the enterprise in the Finance and Projects arena.
- Develop and partner with other senior officers to identify the appropriate information Technology applications to support business objectives and create new strategic business options.
- Assign resources to troubleshoot critical issues and act as a sounding board as we solution those issues
- Work with and negotiate with 3rd party vendors for projects supporting our applications in the global design
- Interface with the management team of the Enterprise Solutions group
- Have a working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and basic manufacturing processes
- Develop and administer budgets and monitor expenses for applicable cost centers.
- Control the Information Technology budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BA in Accounting or Finance
- Masters preferred but not required
- CPA preferred
