As our Director of Capital Development Sales Operations, you will design, execute and lead a best-in-class sales engine to enable and power our fundraising efforts.Â
In addition, you will oversee analysts in managing existing investor relations and enhancing client experience through delivery of high quality, accurate and timely information; partnering with sales leads and other team members to support fundraising process; leading relationship and collaboration across internal groups to promote coordination and teamwork.
You will report to and work with the Head of Capital Development at our New York City headquarters.
What you'll do:- Team leadership:Â
- Enable team culture of continuous improvement and an evidence data-driven understanding of conversion, time to close, etc.
- Enhance the performance management system that encourages both performance and behavior
- Selling and Investor Relations process and performance management:Â
- Build rigorous sales operations engine for capital development efforts
- Maximize Capital Development business development team’s time spent selling by minimizing low impact non-selling activities
- Develop evidence-driven client contact strategy recommendations
- Rigorously track and manage sales funnel performance metrics, unearthing key metrics, sales effectiveness insights and opportunities to optimize funnel and drive results
- Sales strategy:Â
- Support sales strategy by identifying the most attractive opportunities based on value and probability of closing
- Ensure deployment of business development resources in alignment with highest value opportunities
- Efficient coverage by developing investor landscaping, mapping and targeting strategies
- Selling skills:Â
- Drive business development and sales effectiveness for this team
- Identify and execute upon opportunities to build sales capabilities
- Tools management:Â
- Own Salesforce.com design, functionality, data & reporting; establish efficient sales support foundation & streamlined processes.Â
- Develop robust CRM tracking process, creating reporting & analytics to optimize investor coverage and to improve visibility to senior stakeholders
- Background
- 7-10 years of total experience in sales operations, consulting, investment banking, business development, equity capital markets roles and/or analytical roles with exposure to sales processes
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting

You will work out of one of the following locations:
