A leading real estate developer is looking to hire a Director of Capital Formation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the firm's capital formation activities and will play a key role in driving the growth of the business. This is a senior, strategic role, perfect for an ambitious capital raiser who wants to play a key role in shaping and executing the fundraising strategy. The investor relations specialist Responsibilities: · Develop and implement a proactive and results-driven capital formation strategy to raise capital for new and existing real estate projects. · Identify and cultivate relationships with potential investors, presenting investment opportunities, and effectively articulating the value proposition of the firm · Collaborate closely with the investment team to understand the unique selling points of our portfolio projects and effectively communicate these to prospective investors. · Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions. · Develop compelling investor materials and manage the end-to-end fundraising process. · Collaborate closely with the investment and executive teams to align capital strategy with company objectives. · Proven experience raising capital for real estate or alternative investment strategies. · A strong, established network of institutional and professional investors. · Excellent communication and presentation skills. · A strategic mindset and the ability to think entrepreneurially in a growing, agile environment. Director of Capital Formation Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree with a finance/marketing/economics concentration (MBA preferred) · Minimum 6-8+ years of experience in capital formation, with a strong background in private credit or private equity · Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex investment concepts to diverse audiences. · Strong work ethic with a positive attitude · Demonstrated track record of successfully raising capital and closing deals in a competitive capital raising environment.
