Director of Central Finance Integration

Summary

The Director of Central Finance Integration leads a team instrumental in defining, designing, and delivering global finance solutions enabled by SAP Central Finance. The scope of the Central Finance implementation will include data harmonization and replication from source systems to SAP S/4 that will enable the design and delivery of SAP functionality related to financial and management reporting, treasury, planning, fixed assets and tax. An external integration partner will be selected to help implement SAP Central Finance.

This is a key role in the development of a common information model through harmonizing data from legacy source systems to SAP S/4. The implementation of Central Finance will require the global finance teams to redefine the 'ways of work'. The Director of Central Finance will manage 3-4 direct reports and indirectly lead 3-4 process leads assigned to the Company's ERP implementation. These process leads will help design and deliver treasury, planning, fixed assets, tax and monthly close processes.

Leadership and the ability to manage without authority are key competencies of this position. The ability to collaborate with stakeholders and manage change will be critical for success. The desired objective requires successful replicate of financial data between legacy systems and SAP S/4 that establishes a common information model and enables standardized processes related to global finance processes. The common information model will be the foundation of all financial and management reporting for the Company leading to better, faster information for analysis and decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Company's Central Finance implementation
• Lead a team of 3-4 project team members and indirectly lead 3-4 process leads assigned to the Company's ERP implementation.
• Manage scope of work with the solution integration team (external integration partner)
• Provide oversight of project scope, design, testing, training and cutover activities
• Serve as the Central Finance Lead for the Company's ERP implementation and participate on the ERP Project Leadership Team
• Partner with necessary business leads and stakeholders (global finance leadership) to ensure cross functional collaboration on design and process
• Partner with IT to ensure data, technology and process design support stakeholder needs
• Participate in the establishment of a data governance structure and governing data standards
• Inform senior management on project status including opportunities and challenges
• Engage with Finance Leadership to achieve global finance strategic initiatives
• Develop value plans with key metrics to measure project value

Typical Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from 4-year College or University. CPA or MBA is desirable.

Relevant Experience

• Ten years accounting/finance experience. Preferably with most years in a leadership position.
• Leading global teams through change, stakeholder management and the ability to influence.
• Prior experience engaging with senior management (includes presenting materials)
• Previous SAP/ERP implementation (or largescale IT project) experience is desirable
• Previous experience with data harmonization and establishing a data governance structure is desirable
• Broad understanding of finance systems and processes
