Job Description
As a Director of Client Relations, you will be building out several partnerships across multiple verticals like Banking, Issuers, Merchants etc. You’ll serve as the primary contact for specific partners and work with our internal stakeholders to build strong relationships between the two teams. You will collaborate closely with our Product, Risk & Compliance, Sales/Customer Success, Growth and Support & Payment Operations teams to deliver on ambitious growth goals. This is a key role where you will be uniquely positioned to impact the full picture of Melio’s growth efforts across all functions.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with the key external stakeholders on the partner side as well as build and maintain internal relationships at Melio by proactively scheduling meetings.
- Build strong relationships with our Product, Risk & Compliance, Sales/Customer Success, Growth and Support & Payment Operations teams to solve complex partner problems (e.g., manage projects, define KPIs etc)
- Leverage Melio’s internal resources, including, to establish and maintain an effective relationship with the client.
- Utilize consultative approach to identify drivers for partnership’s revenue growth and profitability.
- Conduct periodic business reviews to ascertain the performance of the partnership, provide updates and recommendations to the partner and evolve the relationship to maturity.
- Under Melio’s roadmap by working with product and engineering to identify future opportunities for the partner that will drive richer economics and value adds.
- Understand the client’s business problems and strategic objectives; develop formal proposals for additional products & services that address the client’s needs.
What we’d love to see:Â
- Bachelor’s degree required and MBA preferred
- 7 to 10 years of experience managing and growing relationships with large/complex financial organizations.
- 5 - 7 years in the payments industry with operations experience.
- Travel flexibility is essential
Compensation, Benefits and Perks:
- Base compensation range is $204,000 - $240,000
