Director of Clinical Strategy

Particle Health seeks a clinician to join our team as the Director of Clinical Strategy. You will be a key driver in the development of the data and analytics solutions we're building on top of our best-in-class healthcare data API.

As a member of the Product team, you will help validate and design premium offerings that Particle will create on top of patient medical data. You’ll work with Product Management, Engineering, and customer-facing teams to help determine the most impactful and relevant aggregations and insights to meet our customers’ use cases.

A “day in the life” of the Director of Clinical Strategy may include use case and data need analysis with an onboarding customer, review of output from a customer’s data package for validation, or pattern recognition of data solutions for commonality and reusability. Additionally, supporting other teams’ efforts in sales, marketing, and overall company strategy.

This role is a mix of vision and execution—being hands on during prototyping, go to market, and product market fit validation all while creating a blueprint for long-term product offerings and solutions.

• Responsible for value proposition of a suite of new insights—deriving from customer use cases, best practices, and revenue opportunity areas
• Provide clinical validation and quality assurance before a new offering is released
• Partnering with the product management team to help prioritize upcoming projects and investment areas
• Work with customers to understand their use cases and data collection needs, partnering with sales engineers, solution architects, and engineers at Particle to design and develop solutions to speed implementation and onboarding
• Work with product management, sales, and marketing to properly articulate the product offering to prospective customers

• 7+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Medical professional (MD, DO, RN, PA)
• Comfortable with creating and presenting proposals to external clinical and data teams
• Experience with electronic medical chart review processes and clinical operations
• Key contributor to multiple health data products going to market
• Prior work in extracting insights from healthcare data (examples, but not limited to: condition-based insights, value-based care (VBC), HEDIS measures, gaps in care, or risk adjustment calculations)

• Key contributor to the design and implementation of platform-based products (more than just one-off builds)
• Strategy or consultative experience

The salary for this position will be between $150,000 and $200,000 annually plus equity.
