Department OverviewThe V&S (CTO) operations team is responsible for overseeing the strategic initiatives and operations within the organization. This team works closely with the CTO to implement and maintain technology solutions that support the company's strategic goals and objectives.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Journey and Efficiency:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cloud vendors and internal stakeholders (IT, Procurement) to implement a cohesive cloud strategy.
- Drive efficiencies and optimize processes during Motorola's cloud journey, implementing best practices for adoption.
2. Business Intelligence and Analytics:
- Partner with UX and data science resources to design and manage a comprehensive business intelligence dashboard.
- Provide meaningful insights on the health of the organization for the CTO and other senior leaders.
- Facilitate executive decision-making and identify improvement opportunities within the CTO organization.
3. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive technological innovation and digital transformation.
- Identify and achieve "quick wins" to build momentum within the CTO group while pursuing longer-term strategic goals.
- Assist the Chief of Staff in executing key initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
4. Transformation and Change Management:
- Act as a change agent to drive organizational transformation through innovative technology solutions and effective change management strategies.
- Communicate vision and benefits of technology solutions to stakeholders.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as a trusted representative of the CTO COS on technology trends and opportunities.
- Form strong partnerships with Finance, IT, and Procurement teams to support technology initiatives, infrastructure integration, and streamlined vendor management.
6. Talent Development and Leadership:
- Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the COS Office.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Mentor team members to build leadership capabilities within the CTO group.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration) is required. Advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience in cloud strategy development and implementation.

Strong knowledge of business intelligence and analytics tools and methodologies.

Demonstrated experience in driving operational efficiencies and process improvement.

Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience in technology transformation and change management.

Ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.

Prior experience in a senior leadership role is preferred.
Note: Candidate can reside anywhere in the US.
