Textio's mission is to build software that creates understanding between people. Our category-defining augmented writing platform has already transformed the way that thousands of companies communicate. We're looking for a Director of Communications to help us build upon our existing brand recognition and create a strategy that drives even broader awareness for Textio as we expand our product offerings.
In 2021 we shipped several new products and doubled the size of our customer base. 2022 is shaping up to be even more exciting with more new products coming to market and an ambitious revenue plan. We are actively and intentionally building the marketing team that will help us through Textio's next stage.
You are an expert at building brand and company reputation among analysts, press, inventors, customers, partners, and candidates. You build communications strategies that align with company goals, and can develop a data-driven approach to measuring success that you subsequently refine as you test and learn. You have experience leading analyst engagement, industry awards, executive communications, and internal communications at multi-product B2B SaaS companies.
You are also an expert storyteller. You thrive off using data and customer stories to build compelling narratives that capture the attention of top tier media, analysts, and influencers. You are experienced in creating everything from press releases to investor pitches to internal memos. You are excited to develop a deep understanding of our market, our product, and our customers and then use that knowledge to land stories that raise the visibility and value of Textio.
This is a great role for you if:- You love putting the perfect media pitch together, and are creative and persistent in your approach to pitching a variety of stories and angles.
- Building positive relationships with tier one analyst firms and other industry influencers is a core strength; you can represent Textio's business, product, and customer to the people we want to influence.
- You can serve as a trusted strategic communications advisor to Textio's senior leadership team on timeliness, messaging and delivery of critical topics.
- You can partner with the brand marketing, talent acquisition and creative teams to build strategies that help attract diverse and highly qualified candidates to Textio.
- You lead with curiosity first; you want to understand all parts of Textio's business, and you are passionate about helping others succeed.
- You thrive working in complex B2B SaaS multi-product, multi-buyer software environments.

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently $161,000 - $237,000. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits and equity upon requests. Disclosure as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for > Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101 et seq.
