Director of Community Impact

The Director of Community Impact is responsible for leading ACFC’s social impact team.  This person works collaboratively with internal teams in Community, Revenue, and Content to deliver on ACFC’s commitment to Equity through Essentials and Education, both with funding from our 10% sponsorship model and through CSR initiatives in conjunction with the Community Team.  They will help develop strategic plans to build strong partnerships and strengthen the ties between the ACFC brand and our impact in the community.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sr Director of Community Impact to create multi-year strategic plans for ACFC’s 10% impact to be in alignment with ACFC’s overall strategy.
• Directly manage the Community Impact Team to plan and ensure flawless execution of all launches, events and ongoing programming.
• Work closely with Sr Manager of Community Impact and Partnership Marketing (PM) team to strategize and execute new program launches that meet PM and Community requirements.
• Develop strong community partnerships to support the growth of ACFC and respond to community needs and feedback.
• Support the creation of creative briefs for each impact initiative and ACFC’s overall impact, to be executed by the Content team.
• Support the Community Team in preparing and executing all Game Day duties related to Community Impact.
• Work closely with the Community Impact Team to create and manage program budgets. 
• Support outcome measurement for initiatives and programming; including research and data collection, and synthesis for inclusion in quarterly and annual reports.
• Identify opportunities to expand ACFC’s impact initiatives, deepen our presence in and around LA and bolster our overall impact identity.
• Collaborate with the Sr Director of Community Impact and Sr Manager of Community Impact to create and maintain decks outlining the relationship between impact partners, sponsors, programming, and content.
• Coordinate with PR, Content & PM to identify opportunities for inclusion of impact in Community events, content and campaigns.
• Demonstrate understanding of sponsor and community level outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Sr Director of Community Impact to create annual impact reports and bi-weekly updates for the executive team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an additional two years of professional experience in lieu of degree required.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional, relevant experience in corporate social responsibility/social sustainability and/or community development.
• People management experience. 
• Stakeholder management experience across one or more of the following sectors: diversity, equity and inclusion, government, education, sport/physical activity programs, or youth development.
• Experience with project management, managing daily activities and delivering results in a cross-functional environment.
• Work with leadership and team leads to help ensure strategy and execution alignment, and drive decision making.
• Excellent communication, analytical, written and presentation skills.
• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to keep multiple distinct projects on track.

COMPENSATION

In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $100-$120k.

The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.
