Can you craft, develop, audit, analyze, and stay abreast of the competitive compensation landscape in order to attract, retain and reward Anaplan’s global employee population? As our incumbent Director of Compensation, reporting directly to the VP of Total Rewards, impact our high growth!

Your Impact
  • Benchmark, build, maintain, and analyze competitive compensation strategy that motivates performance, is fiscally responsible and efficient, and supports the attraction and retention of successful talent
  • Partners with Finance on the design, implementation, and administration of long-term incentive plans
  • Provides analytical mentorship for executive compensation programs and prepares presentation materials for approval by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors
  • Oversees the focal process inclusive of developing global guidelines, preparing communications, running budgets, and collaborating with other HR partners for implementation
  • Develops effective working relationships with various internal and external resources, ensuring all compensation plans and programs align with internal corporate governance and compliance guidelines, remaining current on regulatory and legislative changes relevant to compensation and market standard processes
  • Works in partnership with Internal Comms regarding the communication and education of compensation programs to ensure a full understanding by employees
  • Develops, leads, and mentors a hard-working team of compensation professionals
Your Qualifications
  • At least 10+ years of compensation-related experience developing, shaping, and administering compensation plans, including executive-level compensation
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Deep business insight and understanding of business strategies and principles
  • Strong project management abilities and superb attention to detail
  • People builder and developer of talent; excellent and inspirational manager of team members
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, advising decision-making
  • Exhibits exceptional integrity, judgment, and discretion regarding sensitive and personal information
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize complex issues, evaluate the impact, and connect with all levels of the company, including senior management
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, team-based environments across multiple functions and locations
  • Adept at building and using internal relationships
  • Subject matter authority with insights rooted in knowledge and experience
  • Works well independently and under pressure while prioritizing workloads
  • Can adapt quickly with resilience and agility to changing requests
  • Strong digital literacy
Preferred Skills
  • Master’s degree
  • Prior Executive Compensation experience
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP)
