Position Overview
As the Director of Compiler Engineering you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our Machine Learning compiler technology. You'll lead a talented team in designing developing and optimising compilers tailored for AI at the Edge. Your role will involve setting strategic directions overseeing the development lifecycle and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of our compiler solutions into our product suite.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Compiler Engineering team fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in compiler design optimization and performance.
- Define and execute strategies for advancing compiler technology aligning with industry trends and meeting business objectives.
- Oversee the design development and optimization of compilers to support AI-centric applications and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Research & Development Engineering and Product teams to align compiler technology with product goals and market demands.
- Drive innovation and efficiency in compiler design performance and optimization techniques.
Qualifications and Technical Requirements:
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science Engineering or related fields with 8-10 years of industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in compiler engineering or related technical fields.
- Expertise in compiler design optimization and development with a deep understanding of compiler architecture LLVM/Clang and optimization methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ Python and familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow PyTorch etc.).
- Familiarity with ML compilation frameworks like Apache TVM and MLIR.
- Strong knowledge of parallel computing vectorization and optimization techniques for modern CPU/GPU architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and integrate compiler solutions into product offerings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of driving innovation in a dynamic environment.
Additional Information:
This role will involve close collaboration with various teams including Research & Development Engineering and Product to ensure the alignment of compiler technology with product goals and industry advancements.
