Position Overview - This is a hybrid position working in-office in Minneapolis, MNÂ
The Director of Corporate Marketing works with corporate and business unit leaders to implement annual strategies that align with company-wide goals. The duties include implementing an annual marketing action plan, overseeing departmental staff, coordinating marketing resources for both external and internal consumption and managing the annual marketing budget. The Director of Corporate Marketing will be a visionary leader who can integrate diverse marketing efforts to drive market growth and brand recognition across all channels and regions.

- Collaborate with business units to develop and implement marketing strategies for existing and new products that support or exceed annual goals.
- Identify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget ensuring strategic allocation of reseources to maximize the ROI.
- Analyze market trends, understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into adoption and execution to promote growth and innovation.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, communicate the marketing plans to those involved, and build brand awareness and positioning for all company brands ensuring strategic goals are met and supported.
- Direct and implement the company’s advertising and promotional activities such as but not limited to company conferences, trade shows, and events.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging products and services providing marketing support for all business unit development initiatives including lead generations from marketing campaigns and trade shows.
- Administer and oversight of the company’s marketing initiatives, promotional items, digital marketing program, including social media marketing strategy, website, marketing and email campaigns to ensure brand consistency aligns with company’s strategic goals.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department including employee goal setting and performance evaluation.
- Provides mentorship, and acts as an effective advocate for team members, being invested in the growth and development of the team.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies to company leadership adjusting plans as necessary to meet or exceed objectives and support the subsequent actions of leadership.
- Understand and guide efforts in graphic design as well as website creation and maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned as company needs dictate.
Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication, or related field. Master’s degree in a related field highly desirable.
- 10+ years of professional marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies specializing in a B2B environment with a software reseller, data warehousing, 3D Printing, business intelligence or analytics and modeling services.
- Skilled in direct response marketing with ability to craft integrated marketing strategies across all channels and touch points, including website, print communication, and direct mail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Create and manage the digital marketing experience.
- Experience with NetSuite, Linked In, WordPress, Facebook, Graphic Design, Video Creation and Editing and other marketing related software.
- Ability to research, propose, implement, and manage marketing software platforms that would benefit the company’s strategic goals.
- Experience with budget creation and management
- Experience working closely with a sales organization with a strong affinity for sales team success or prior sales experience.
- Ability to communicate, collaborate, engage, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the company.
- Ability to attend Marketing events if needed.
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have ability to work with time-sensitive deadlines, multi-task, and meet the project and corporate goals while working in stressful situations.
- Must possess good organizational skills, be able to work independently with focus and discipline to achieve the customer and company goals.
- Ability to perform consistently with high collaboration and output.
