About the role
Director of Corporate Technology & Security will manage and direct the company’s technology operations and security efforts while ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support and service.
What you’ll do as a Director of Corporate Technology & SecurityÂ
- Own the Company’s spend, budget & cost efficiency as it relates to corporate technology investments.
- Ensure employee’s onboarding and offboarding receive a seamless technology experience.Â
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements.
- Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
- Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
- Deploy and maintain the company's security policies and compliance. Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Facilitates IT security audits or investigations.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Stays up to date on the current and upcoming IT and security trends within the industry.
What we’re looking for
- Â 10+ years of experience managing/working within an IT Department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the latest technology for IT systems and management.
- Through understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company’s goals.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience ordering, supporting, troubleshooting, and working with hardware in an IT capacity (mobile devices, laptops, MDM software, etc).
- SOC Type I & II experience.
Nice to haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
- Certifications (i.e., CISSP, PMP).
