Role overview
As the Director of CRM Marketing, you lead the CRM marketing team to plan, develop, and optimize programs across engagement, activation, and retention initiatives; while running day-to-day operations for Brigit’s CRM channels (Email, SMS, in-app and push). This includes but is not limited to quarterly planning, sizing and scoping of initiatives, A/B testing and analysis of lifecycle and onboarding comms, lifecycle journey mapping, segmentation, personalization, retention and win-back strategies.
You will also:
Oversee operational elements of CRM including owning of the MarTech stack, monitoring deliverability (using our Everest tools) and operational metrics, and the vendor relationships with Iterable and Stensul.
Manage CRM campaign success from end to end; conceptualization and strategy, requirement gathering, briefing and optimizations, assigning the build (and when needed, building), monitoring, reporting and analysis.
Analyze customer data and lifecycle performance to develop campaigns and drive optimizations.
Own cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Data, and Design to enable new personalized customer journeys.
Become an expert on Instant Cash and Credit Builder expert, knowing the ins and outs of the product and customer lifecycle journeys.
What you’ll be doing
Drive strategic initiatives focused on customer lifecycle & engagement.
Lead strategy, conceptualizing, creating and managing retention and engagement initiatives via automated and personalized email marketing programs, push notifications, SMS and in-app messaging.
Manage the CRM team, and CRM campaigns from end to end; strategy, requirement gathering, briefing and optimizations, building, monitoring, reporting and analysis.
Develop a rigorous test and learn strategy across lifecycle and one-off campaigns.
Manage and collate learnings.
Create and monitor complex journeys, triggers and automations with static and dynamic content.
Ensure campaigns (including tests, segmentation and complex personalization logic) are set up and deployed accurately in a timely manner by the team.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product, Engineering, and Data to deliver compelling new personalized customer journeys.
What you have
5-8 years of hands-on experience managing CRM programs from conception through analysis.
Customer obsessed and a creative thinker; you care deeply about our customers as well as delightful, on-brand experiences.
Experience leveraging a robust marketing automation/CRM system like Iterable (preferred), Braze, MoEngage, or similar.
Experience with marketing in multiple channels (email, sms, in-app) with complex use journeys.
Deep knowledge in customer segmentation, list management, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws.
Passion for data-driven marketing and building programs that drive incremental results
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
Team player and strong communicator.
Exceptional project management skills, experience managing multiple competing projects/deadlines, and strong attention to detail.
An ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $150,000 - $180,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits for which an individual may be eligible. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
