Who You Are:

We are looking for a strategic, results-oriented Director of Customer Marketing to engage, retain, and cross/upsell our fast-growing global customer base of corporate and financial services users. Operating as a player/coach managing a small team, you will work with marketing team colleagues as well as cross-functionally with the sales, customer success, and product teams to apply your deep customer understanding, curiosity, and creativity to build delightful customer experiences and support the adoption and expansion of AlphaSense.

What You'll Do:

  • Design programs to engage, educate, and celebrate AlphaSense’s growing customer base
  • Build, manage, and maintain a world class customer advocacy program, including written and video-based customer stories, review site activation, a database of testimonials for use by sales and marketing teams, customer speaking engagements, customer events, and customer advisory boards/user forums
  • Understand customer buying patterns and develop marketing strategies and tactics to expand AlphaSense’s revenue within existing accounts
  • Create campaigns and online and in person customer experiences that drive engagement, adoption, and renewal
  • Own and improve the customer journey across new and existing channels, including webinars, email, review sites (e.g., g2, TrustRadius, Capterra ), and our website
  • Leverage data to improve and enhance the AlphaSense customer experience and journey
  • Measure impact and report on program effectiveness while constantly looking at ways to optimize results

What You Bring:

  • 8-10 years of experience leading customer marketing strategy and tactics in a B2B SaaS company (experience in market and competitive intelligence or financial services a plus)
  • Demonstrated success building customary advocacy programs leveraging a wide range of tactics, running customer advisory boards, and producing customer events
  • Experience building and managing high performing teams
  • Extraordinary writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to influence and lead at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and run multiple concurrent project demands within established timelines
  • Passion for results, measurement, and optimization to continuously drive ROI
  • Collaborative team player, willing to go the extra mile to help other team members excel
