Director of Customer Success: Sample Solutions
Job Description
The Sample Solutions team is responsible for developing creative and cost effective solutions to meet customers data needs. The Director of Customer Success is responsible for developing and delivering on key Dynata client supply solutions. This strategic role will work across a range of global functional groups to ensure client sample needs are prioritized appropriately, communicated and agreed team KPI's are achieved. The role will also require frequent direct client interaction as well.
The Director of Customer Success role is responsible for engaging with a wide range of Dynata teams and our global network of sample partners to achieve or exceed our customer KPI's. In order to be successful the Director of Customer Success must be driven to succeed and be able to partner with a wide range of business stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Self starter who can take complex client needs and turn those into agreed upon, actionable and functional goals which support the needs of our customer and other stakeholders
- Able to effectively articulate capabilities to customers
- Develop impactful relationships with internal teams and our global partner network
- Monitor team analytics to uncover trends and proactively optimize workflows within the team
- Support team members with requests for sample and creative solutions as needed including multi-mode sampling solutions
- Partner with Finance to ensure timely and accurate data
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on key performance indicators related to agreed upon client KPI's
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3-4 years account management, procurement or operations-related work experience, ideally in a market research environment. Experience in leading teams and or complex cross functional projects is a definite asset.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience successfully working as part of or leading global teams within a matrix reporting structure
- Ability to set goals and ensure they are clearly communicated and successfully delivered
- Customer Service Orientation: willing to go the extra mile to develop solutions for internal and external customer needs
- Ability to successfully work with diverse team in a cross-departmental role
- Must be compulsive about data accuracy and quality
- Market research industry experience is a significant asset
