Job Description

Position Summary:

Swiftly is looking for someone with exceptional analytical and business augment skills to help define and document systems and processes related with data platform. Additionally, it is important for this person to have a strategic mindset to understand how data platform fit into Swiftly’s mid and long-term roadmap. This role will set the rules and ask questions for analytics and governance.

Responsibilities Include:

Lead and build a highly scalable, reliable data and analytics platform

Define the vision and roadmap for the data engineering and analytics team

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data scientists and engineers

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data-related processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver insights that drive business decisions

Design and implement data models, algorithms, and predictive analytics to solve complex business problems

Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of data and analytics practices

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders clearly and actionably

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field

8+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams

Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar

In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a startup or fast-growth environment

Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques

Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
