The Role:

This position offers a fast-paced environment with a strong team of diverse technologists that are central in building Arine’s data platform. You will have the opportunity to have a direct impact on the infrastructure and delivery of our core enterprise data offerings.

The Director of Data Services will lead Arine’s Data Services teams consisting of engineers, data analysts, and managers, and will be responsible for various data needs across Arine’s data management and integration platform. This position reports to the VP of Engineering and will work in close collaboration with technical stakeholders to optimize processes to ingest large enterprise healthcare datasets and build novel healthcare analytics.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Oversee teams of experienced data engineers, data analysts, and managers, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure effective departmental operations and achievement of organizational goals
  • Implement rigorous data validation processes and protocols to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of information within the data lakes, guaranteeing reliable and trustworthy data for analytical purposes
  • Responsible for delivering ETL pipelines for each client launch on-time and with high quality
  • Provide expert guidance to the teams regarding healthcare claims data
  • Coordinate with and provide clear communications to clients and internal stakeholders (i.e. Implementation team, Client Success team, and Sales team regarding data ingestion from clients)
  • Efficiently manage project timelines by developing and implementing robust scheduling strategies, closely monitoring progress, and proactively addressing any deviations to ensure timely and successful project completions

Our Ideal Candidate Possesses:

  • 5+ years of professional experience leading a successful Data Services teams in a healthcare organization
  • Proven track records of building teams and delivering quality work on-time
  • Experience collaborating with SaaS Implementation teams to ensure seamless and on-time client delivery
  • Expert knowledge of healthcare claims data
  • Technical experience including SQL and Snowflake in cloud computing environment (preferably AWS)
  • A proven track record in designing and implementing robust data lakes, as well as expertise in seamless integration with existing data infrastructure to facilitate comprehensive data management, validation, and analytics capabilities

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Technical experience including Python and Data Visualization (e.g. Quicksight, Tableau, etc.)

The posted range represents the expected salary for this position and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits, and perks. Ultimately, the final pay decision will consider factors such as your experience, job level, location, and other relevant job-related criteria. The salary range for this position is: $180,000-200,000/year.

Information Security Roles and Responsibilities:

All staff at Arine are expected to be part of its Information Security Management Program and undergo periodic training on Information Security Awareness and HIPAA guidelines. Each user is responsible to maintain a secure working environment and follow all policies and procedures. Upon hire, each person is assigned and must complete trainings before access is granted for their specific role within Arine.
