The Position:
The Director of Demand Generation will lead FastSpring’s team of highly-skilled demand generation specialists focusing on paid media, organic traffic generation, content strategy, community & social, CRO (web design & development), and full-funnel digital marketing including email marketing and ABM in order to drive elite growth for FastSpring.
This person will be a hands-on leader helping their team develop the best strategies for growth while nurturing a fun and engaging working environment built on trust and respect. You will report directly to FastSpring’s CMO and will work with other top executives across the company to develop demand generation strategies that evolve with, but also drive the strategy of the company in many critical and key ways.
Responsibilities:Â Â
- Develop an efficient and data-driven inbound marketing model that effectively drives leads for the sales team and assists the business in acquiring new customers.Â
- Develop a broad understanding of the market landscape and identify key areas of competitive difference and disruptive opportunities.
- Oversee the shaping, hiring and development for the demand gen organization.
- Work with key leaders across the organization to drive growth strategies that support the organization.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 7 years of marketing experience working for technology-focused companies, with 2+ years at the Director level or higher.Â
- Proven people-first and thoughtful leader who has helped their teams grow professionally and realize success in their current roles.
- Ability to hire, train, deploy, and manage excellent talented marketing professionals. Â
- Experience building scalable and repeatable demand generation models and processes.
- Experience managing design teams and teams optimizing web funnels.
- Extensive experience with key areas of demand generation including paid media, email marketing, and other forms of inbound growth marketing.
- A vast knowledge of leveraging data to quickly identify opportunities for growth and to prove which growth strategies are the best path forward.
Technology & Systems:
- Google Advertising, Linkedin/Twitter/Facebook Advertising, 3rd party ad networks, email marketing platforms (e.g. Marketo, Hubspot), Google Analytics, data visualization platforms (e.g. Looker), and other similar demand generation systems and platforms.
