Reporting to the CMO, the Director of Demand Generation will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive lead generation and revenue growth. By aligning closely with our sales and marketing teams, you will use data and analytics to fine-tune and optimize our efforts.

The Director of Demand Generation will be instrumental in crafting and deploying effective Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, positioning Blackbird.AI as a cybersecurity authority through compelling narratives and key messages. You will also collaborate with product and customer service teams to ensure a unified approach to demand generation. You will orchestrate impactful digital marketing campaigns, fostering lead generation and propelling us toward our vision of a safer digital landscape.

As the Director of Demand Generation, you'll have the chance to:

  • Develop, implement, and assess strategies to drive leads and revenue, working closely with sales and marketing teams while leveraging data and analytics for continuous improvement.
  • Construct an efficient digital demand generation tech stack to engage prospects effectively across digital channels.
  • Create impactful Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns by crafting compelling narratives and key messages, establishing Blackbird.AI as a trusted leader in cybersecurity for media, enterprise, and government sectors.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including product and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to demand generation efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and techniques, and conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Develop and manage demand generation budgets and forecasts.
  • Measure and report the success of demand generation campaigns using key metrics like leads, conversions, and revenue.
  • Identify and resolve challenges and conflicts within the demand generation process.
  • Provide training and support to team members on demand generation best practices and tools.
  • Design, plan, manage, and optimize integrated digital campaigns across multiple channels to generate pipeline.
  • Monitor and report campaign performance with detailed tracking across relevant KPIs, including impressions, clicks, web visitors, video views, collateral downloads, leads, initial sales conversions, and revenue.
  • Create impactful nurture programs to enhance conversion rates from leads to opportunities.
  • Work closely with the CMO and Director of Content and Communication for granular tracking, reporting, and efficient lead management during the handoff from marketing to sales.
  • Oversee vendor selection and contracts as necessary

Requirements

What you'll bring:

  • 5-7 years of experience in demand generation or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • A digital marketing portfolio of produced marketing work.
  • Extensive experience in the development of creative campaigns and execution of email marketing, social advertising, content syndication, SEM, and paid digital.
  • Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to senior management.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • A desire to learn and grow in the demand generation field.

Pay Transparency:

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Blackbird.AI is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York. It takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At Blackbird.AI, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is expected to be $180,000-$200,000. This range may vary for positions outside of New York and as it has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled and does not consider our bonus and commission structures.

Regardless of location, candidates can expect during the first few conversations with Blackbird.AI's Talent Team and Hiring Managers to share any approved budget and details on our competitive bonus and commission packages.
