Director of Development & Production
Job Description
Terrapin Station Entertainment specializes in Live touring & production, artist management, and stadium entertainment. This key executive will oversee assigned TSE projects' development, production, and project management. This is an exciting opportunity to work side-by-side with the best creators, talent, and brands across entertainment fields.
What you'll do:- Provide Creative & Production Development expertise to TSEs live and touring projects.
- Directly oversee high-priority projects from early stage development through production.
- Vet and evaluate incoming pitches from creative, strategic, and commercial perspectives and make recommendations to senior management.
- Track and report to senior management on TSEs development and production slate status, flagging risks and escalating issues as needed.
- Liaise with licensing partners, clients, and internal teams to understand strategic and logistical considerations, such as timing, project releases, tour plans, and asset access.
- Work closely with production teams to provide creative oversight, feedback, and support. Represent TSEs' interests throughout production by monitoring cost reports, tracking schedules, and reviewing creative elements.
- Take the lead on packaging internally-developed projects, including identifying and attaching production partners, overseeing the creation of development/sales materials, and vetting production budgets and schedules.
- A seasoned executive with 10+ years of experience in live events & touring.
- Established relationships with top-tier executives and companies across the live entertainment industry.
- Direct relationships with iP licensees, as well as strong agency connections.
- Detail-oriented strategic thinker and problem solver.
- Relationships with key event promoters are a plus.
- Must be an avid pop-culture/live entertainment fan across all genres.
- Awareness of the live event market required.
