We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Director, Digital Analytics (Head of Analytics) on the Digital Transformation (dXp) Team!
Job Summary:
The Director, Digital Analytics will lead the Analytics team at LGE (dXp). In this critical role, you will be responsible for setting up key performance metrics, evaluating campaigns and generating insights related to consumer digital behavior.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Digital Analytics practice for LGEUS
• Set up key performance metrics, evaluate campaigns, and generate insights related to consumer digital behavior
• Evaluate CRM, social, site & campaign performance using data from multiple sources including Google marketing platforms (GA360, DV360, SA360, CM360, Optimize)
• Determine data visualizations, reporting procedures & cadences utilizing dynamic and interactive dashboards
• Partner closely with other teams to define goals, strategy and KPIs
• Establish analytic best practices and increase data sophistication within the US organization, driving a culture of 'always on' data-driven decision making that will institutionalize the use of consumer-driven analytics
• Develop effective data strategies and roadmaps
• Team Development - upskills both Analytics team and others on best practices in digital analytics and performance assessment
• Business Performance Reporting - be a partner for stakeholders to understand drivers of performance and identify meaningful, actionable insights that help improve performance or double-down on success
• Media Analytics - design media tests, execute measurement and report on performance, identifying opportunities to optimize
• Behavioral Analyses - use advanced techniques (e.g. statistical modeling, experimentation, causal inference) to analyze behavioral data to identify patterns and uncover opportunities. Create a rich understanding of how people are interacting with the site, devices and content and use these insights to make recommendations.
• Opportunity Identification & Sizing - utilized to set goals and evaluate new opportunities, the Director is tasked with forecasting & opportunity sizing to help stakeholders evaluate trade-offs in different approaches and create targets for driving business performance.
• Partnership & Communication - partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure ease of data accessibility and utilization at varying levels of the organization
• Collaboration with other data teams to improve capabilities around data modeling, testing, visualization & architecture
Experience/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, physics, computer science or social sciences heavy in quantitative methodologies like economics, psychology, political science or sociology
• Minimum 15 years of experience w/ 10 years in Digital Analytics
• Solid knowledge & experience with Google Analytics (preferred) or Omniture
• Superior experience with Google platforms (GA360, DV360, SA360, CM360, Optimize)
• Ability to effectively facilitate two-way translation between business requirements and technical criteria
• Understanding of MarTech ecosystem, sound knowledge of the digital space, social media, emerging tech, voice, podcasts & related technologies
• Advanced excel skills & data visualization in Tableau or Google Data Studio
• Experience evaluating marketing campaigns including MMM/MTA analysis
• Successful background in team management/team building
• Natural ability to build interpersonal relationships and manage conflict
• Ability to comprehend the underlying need and can propose the proper solutions vs. order taking
• Strong hypothesis generation/testing skills
• Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and come up with clear client-friendly narratives that underlie the data
• Strong conceptual, communication (written, verbal, presentation) & collaboration skills
• Willingness to invent & learn - not afraid to put an idea into action, measure its success and apply learning to future decisions
• Proactive, organized, efficient, detail-oriented, unassailable focus on the basics, accountable, enthusiastic, able to follow detailed instructions and make thoughtful recommendations
