A successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and have a proven track record in the creation of integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies to support all stages of the buyer's journey. They will be able to bring their strategies to life with best-in-class marketing technology and marketing techniques. This person should be well-versed in translating performance data into action-items to maximize impact.
The candidate will manage direct reports and lead cross-functional teams. They must be an excellent communicator who is able to aggregate information from multiple stakeholders and sources to create a shared marketing vision to support our organizational goals. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to toggle between leading the strategy and driving the execution of digital marketing plans. The person leading this team should be a team player, with the ability to independently lead projects.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create campaign strategies designed to drive awareness, consideration, pipeline and bookings growth through net-new and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop and lead implementation of B2B digital marketing strategies across ABM, paid search, display, emails + nurtures, webinars, pre-during-and-post tradeshow campaigns, paid social media strategies, digital OOH, and more to meet MQL targets to drive sales pipeline.
- Lead the strategy and execution of ABX campaigns using industry-leading technology platforms.
- Monitor performance and develop action items to ensure that we are on pace to meet and exceed our targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of direct reports.
- Manage agency relationships to improve the performance of paid search, paid social, and other digital activities.
- Work cross-functionally to implement and manage closed loop reporting and attribution from early indicators to closed won revenue.
- Identify opportunities to innovate current processes and tech stack to identify unknown contacts on named accounts, generate net new leads, and elevate demand generation.
- Optimize web presence to improve conversion rate and engagement.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Product Marketing, Segment Marketing, Commercial Leadership, Commercial Operations, Content + Design, Digital Marketing, and agencies to achieve organizational goals.
- Remain at the forefront of healthcare marketing trends to help inform marketing plans.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 7-10 years data-driven digital marketing experience, supporting B2B growth.
- Experience collaborating with and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience developing B2B marketing strategies and tracking performance.
- Digital media expertise required.
- Strong understanding of closed loop reporting and multi-touch attribution.
- Experience leading campaign strategy and execution across an enterprise MarTech stack including marketing automation, Marketo Measure (formerly known as Bizible), and Demandbase.
BONUS POINTS
- Experience with other tech platforms a plus, but not required: GoToWebinar, Drift, Invoca, and Litmus.
- Experience marketing to healthcare decision makers.
- Familiarity with our industry including but not limited to market trends, buying teams, and key players.
- Marketing automation strategy required, Marketo experience preferred.
- Salesforce experience.
This role is located in SLC, Louisville, Mid-town Atlanta or Duluth.

The Marketing team at Waystar acts as the company's brand ambassadors. From high-impact campaigns to large-scale field events, the department is responsible for telling Waystar's story, growing brand awareness, and increasing recognition in the market. Team members combine data-driven, strategic marketing efforts with creative messaging and design to preserve brand identity and promote growth.
The Marketing department offers a variety of positions, including an in-house content and design team as well as marketing roles for performance, product, segment, and events.
