What will you be doing?

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, implement, monitor and assess diversity and inclusion practices and policies to determine the extent to which they support or hinder the company's goals.
  • Educate employees about DEI issues and how to build an integrated and inclusive workplace
  • Advise Employee Resource Groups and manage the governance related to ERG activities
  • Perform research and benchmark best practices to develop, recommend, and execute creative strategies and programs that foster the company's diversity and inclusion goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align DEI initiatives with business strategies focusing on the workforce, business impact and community
  • Direct and oversee implementation of programs and projects.
  • Define metrics for measuring the effectiveness of programs, projects and initiatives, and develop reports for the executive team
  • Develop data-driven approaches to influence decision making practices and communication of company's DEI efforts
  • Collect and analyze statistical data to evaluate the company's population in accordance with diversity standards and goals.
  • Report diversity statistics to executive team and public/government agencies as required
  • Work with the human resources team to draft and implement recruiting and hiring strategies to attract employees from diverse backgrounds.
  • Develop and/or acquire training programs that integrate diversity, equity and inclusion principles
  • Manage, provide guidance and feedback to subordinates
  • Oversee and manage execution of the company's DEI budget
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10+ years of related professional experience, 5+ years managing diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team building and highly adaptable
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills, comfort with applying data to business challenges
  • Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational experience
