  • Keep a close eye on changes in Billing/DSO/ and take appropriate action when needed.
  • Prepare DSO, BS, and Cash-flow forecasts, so you'll need to have great forecasting skills!
  • You'll be responsible for publishing monthly DSO/Collections reports to senior management.
  • Develop and monitor appropriate RCM KPI's, and if performance issues arise, you'll take action with the teams to resolve them.
  • As the leader of the RCM team, you'll promote Accounting and Corporate values and priorities.
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and turnover, and take appropriate actions to remediate any issues.
  • You'll lead and drive process improvement and cost efficiency projects, coordinating appropriate resources with financial systems, IT, and internal audit.
  • You'll develop staffing strategies and initiatives to hire talented staff, consistent with Labcorp's quality standards, for areas of responsibility.
  • Provide oversight for the development and management of the budget and other financial measures for areas of responsibility.
  • Lastly, you'll be leading a team of 30+ employees.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team and make a significant impact on the company's success!

What experience/qualifications you'll bring:

  • Are you an accounting/finance expert with 10 years of experience under your belt?
  • We require a Bachelor's degree, but we prefer a CPA and/or FHFMA with an accounting degree. An MBA or master's degree in a related field is also a plus.
  • Industry experience is a huge plus! Let us know if you have it.
  • If you're a CPA, that's music to our ears!
  • Analytical ability, good judgment, and the ability to handle confidential matters are all necessary skills for this position. And, of course, a strong commitment to the organizational focus.
  • We're looking for a self-directed individual who is also a team player. Are you that kind of person? Can you work with all levels of the organization?
  • We need someone with strong knowledge of USGAAP and SOX.
  • You'll need to have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate your team.
  • You should have a thorough understanding of accounting processes and be skilled in process improvement.
  • You'll also need to have the ability to manage disparate resources throughout the organization to accomplish strategic projects.
