Director of E-Commerce and Digital Experience

The Director of Digital Commerce & Experience is responsible for managing and optimizing our e-commerce business to increase sales and conversions.

A Day in the Life

• Develop and implement our e-commerce strategy to increase sales and conversions
• Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that optimizes our online sales channels and increases revenue generation
• Manage and optimize our website, ensuring it meets the latest industry standards and best practices
• Manage and grow our online content, site navigation, and site search strategy, while improving overall site speed and performance
• Collaborate with our marketing and design teams to create engaging and effective online campaigns
• Oversee our customer service department to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and response time
• Lead our online merchandising strategy to ensure continued growth and improved customer engagement
• Analyze and report on metrics and results, such as traffic, sales, and engagement
• Manage and develop our team of e-commerce professionals
• Drive our e-commerce channel analytics and understand customer behavior, while using data to optimize our e-commerce funnel
• Stay up to date on industry trends and identify new opportunities to drive profitable growth
• Cultivate strong partnerships with key vendors and third-party providers to improve our overall online presence

What Sets You Apart

• Proficient in e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify or Magento
• Strong data analysis skills and experience using Google Analytics or similar tools
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and A/B testing
• Passion for cosmetics and social media is a plus
• Proven success in driving e-commerce growth and improving online customer experiences
• Strong understanding of industry trends and the ability to identify new opportunities for growth
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Expertise in e-commerce platforms, technologies, and tools, including but not limited to Shopify, Magento, and Google Analytics.

Education and Experience

• Proven experience as a Director of E-commerce or similar role
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role
