Job Summary:
Sitting on the Marketing team, the Director of Ecommerce will own the site optimization roadmap for Ruggable.com. You will lead a talented team of marketing managers to continually improve our web experience. You will be responsible for all D2C initiatives with the end goal of hitting short and long term revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of senior experience as a lead decision maker in an ecommerce organization and have a proven track record of exceeding KPI goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop best practices in eCommerce as it relates to the end consumer; drive conversions, and increase AOV and LTV
- Develop a segmentation and personalization strategy to create a cohesive omni-channel experience
- Contribute to our AB Testing roadmap to reduce friction in the customer lifecycle funnel
- Oversee site-merchandising initiatives for our North American catalog
- Manage all aspects of web analytics related to eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners
- Collaborate with the growth, retention and design teams on all product launches and promotions
- Be an innovator in the space to make Ruggable a leader in the interior design industry
- Lead and grow out the Site Optimization team
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree experience in a related field
- 7+ years of senior experience in eCommerce or digital product development
- Working knowledge of how the web works and experience working with analytics (GA, Heap) and CMS platforms (Contentful)
- Data-driven and analytical; strong Excel skills
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms -- Shopify strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, with ability to collaborate with marketers, product managers, designers and functional stakeholders
- A dissatisfaction with the status quo and traditional eCommerce practices
- Ability to be onsite, 2-3 days a week in LA or Chicago
Preferred:
- MBA preferred
- Experience writing SQL queries
Compensation:
- $125,000 - $140,000 per year base salary
- An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
- Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
