Vaayu is on a mission to decarbonize retail by helping brands (from fashion and beauty to consumer goods, health and beyond) to track, cut and credibly communicate their climate impact in real time. Our science-based platform provides granular, automated and accurate carbon calculations, powered by over 600,000 activity-based data points that make it easy for brands to understand their emissions and take action throughout the value chain to meet their reduction targets. Role:
We are looking for a part-time working student or intern to join our fast-paced and purpose driven technology team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites and web applications primarily using no code/low code tools, for both internal and external clients.
This is a fully remote, part-time position with a 20-hour a week commitment and you need to be enrolled with a German University.
Tasks:
- Manage, maintain and enhance our Webflow website and microsites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with the design team to transform mockups into responsive web interfaces and ensure websites align with branding, marketing, and SEO strategies.
- Handle website updates, including content updates, design changes, and functionality improvements.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsiveness and load times.
Who we are looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or a related field with a German University
- Experience with no code/low code website builder tools, ideally Webflow
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a big plus
- Knowledge of design tools like Figma is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fully remote team environment.
- Ability to work fully remote (based in Germany)
- Fluency in English
- A passion for solving climate change
