Director of Engineering (Full Time; Multiple Openings)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for leading and managing the next generation of infrastructure to allow us to accelerate feature development across our user facing Analytics product line.
DUTIES: Collaborating with internal teams to develop long term strategic technology roadmaps; Building and nurturing a world-class engineering team that is truly distributed to assure proper alignment within our teams; Leading, motivating and mentoring the engineering teams to deliver products that are widely adopted for the unique needs of our platforms and clients; Guiding the development of technical solutions that are built for scale, performance and compliance calls to deliver and shape best practices across RingCentral; Evangelizing the technical infrastructure to drive adoption across the organization to provide support for our infrastructure; Running services in cloud infrastructure adopting the best of breed technologies.
SKILLS/TOOLS: Experience with Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Kafka, functional programming language, designing software systems, meeting system compliance requirements, architecting reporting and analytics systems, project management, systems w/five 9 reliability, and managing personnel is required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/
QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Information Systems or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years of related experience, or U.S. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Computer Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience, is required. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

SALARY/
RATE OF PAY: $211,000 - $256,000 per year
