Responsibilities:

* Leading a team of engineers: establishing priorities, analyzing workflows, delegating responsibilities, assigning and reviewing the work, and setting deadlines;

* Providing mentoring and training to other team members on design techniques, and coding standards;

* Creating platforms, systems, and infrastructure for AI technology products using the background in distributed systems and large-scale storage or networking systems;

* Leading designs of major software components, systems, and features;

* Overseeing the development, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving of the software;

* Cultivating innovation and driving collaboration across multiple teams within the company; and

* Providing clients with technical guidance and support.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related subject

* 8 years of experience as a Senior or Lead Software Engineer;

* Working experience with Clojure, Erlang, or any functional programming language;

* Experience with Authentication mechanisms, Database internals, and infrastructure technologies, including architecting/developing large scale distributed systems, concurrency, and multithreading;

* Hands-on experience in leading project teams and setting technical direction;

* Experience with virtualization/global infrastructure, load balancing, networking, massive data storage, or infrastructure security.
