We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Applications to spearhead our Enterprise Application strategy and execution, including oversight, growth and continuous improvement of our portfolio of applications supporting marketing, deal sourcing, deal execution workflows, accounting, lease management, property management, construction management, HR, FP&A, Marketing, and more. This role will report to the SVP, Head of Technology.

The Director of Enterprise Applications will immerse themselves in Rexford's business processes to drive innovation and adoption of business applications in partnership with executives, department heads, and other key business stakeholders throughout all levels of the business, as well as with other teams within the technology department. This role is tasked with identifying and championing opportunities to leverage new and existing business applications to support business development, growth objectives, and improved information flow and business process efficiencies. The successful candidate will be capable of determining interdependencies between processes and data within and across departments and will architect solutions that are both integrated and extensible to support ongoing growth. The role will own technology and vendor discovery, evaluations and recommendations, estimating, and resource management (both internal team members and vendor partners), and provide oversight of solution design, project execution, user support and continuous improvement efforts related to Rexford business applications.
The Director of Enterprise Applications Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Analyze current platforms and make recommendations to further increase value and adoption
- Optimize our platforms for mobile usage as may be appropriate
- Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of a new SaaS Acquisitions platform, driving adoption and data quality
- Improve or replace current marketing platform and achieve tighter integration with Acquisitions processes
- Implement corporate financial planning and sensitivity analysis platform (e.g. Anaplan, Radley Proms or similar)
- Implement centralized “one-stop-shop” data access for all of our Rexford-owned properties; very likely to require an application “build approach” rather than a “buy approach”
- Implement and maintain a robust company intranet
- Deliver process automation and cross-platform integrations
- Expand user training offerings and grow application portfolio adoption across the organization
- Interface with analysts and technical staff to deliver complete work products
- Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of applications
- Oversee expansion and further adoption of the Yardi platform
- Oversee continuous improvement of environmental data management platform and analysis; investigate potential for rolling out sub-metering to our buildings to optimize utility usage and drive down our carbon footprint
Director of Enterprise Applications Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- 10+ years working on implementation and improvement of packaged and/or SaaS software deployments; 5+ years in leadership roles; capable of leading and building a small team while being hands-on with oversight of requirements discovery, solution design and project execution:
- CRM systems
- Accounting systems
- Marketing platforms
- Document Management platforms
- Workflow tools
- Application integrations
- Data conversions from old platforms to new
- Oversight of in-house application development or enhancements to packaged software
- Project Management experience leading complex application implementation projects from planning to completion is required
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies highly desired, in particular how these methodologies pertain to enhancements to packaged or SaaS software solutions
- Application data conversion and application integration experience highly desired
- Experience with Yardi or other CRE ERP software desired; will accept experience with other ERP platforms
- Experience supporting the technology needs of Acquisitions teams in the CRE industry or other Private Market companies (e.g. Private Equity, M&A, Venture Capital) desired; will accept experience supporting the business applications needs of marketing and sales teams in other industries
- Experience with FP&A applications (e.g. Hyperion, Anaplan, Radley Proms, or comparable) desired
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical/problem solving abilities, time management and the ability to multi-task
- Strong mentorship and team building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex solutions to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Certifications:
PMI or comparable project management certification desired

Rexford Industrial's reward plan includes great compensation packages, bonus eligibility and long- term stock incentives. The expected annual base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $240,000, with a 30% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility.* The actual base salary and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letters.

*These stock grants are subject to approval by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, are currently subject to vesting over a four-year period, with 25% of the grant vesting per year, and require continued employment on the grant date and each applicable vesting date.
