Working with Hines, we are building a corporate venture capital organization and a global Venture Studio to build new technology businesses. We capture the most innovative ideas that combine client service, culture, and environmental stewardship to create more inclusive, accessible communities that connect the built environment to a higher purpose. The Venture Studio has launched a new venture – Halo - an innovative technology startup that is transforming the way vacant space is marketed, priced, and presented. We're on a mission to remedy the often tedious and inefficient commercial real estate marketing process. By leveraging cutting-edge tools and channels such as LinkedIn and Google, we reach beyond traditional broker-to-broker networks. Our focus is on directly targeting potential tenants to uncover new prospects, which in turn facilitates increased tours and accelerates the leasing process.
This is a 12 month contract, with potential to be extended/convert to a permanent position.
The Role
The Director of Enterprise Sales and Business Development will be responsible for driving revenue growth, shaping our product offerings to meet market needs, leading our sales and business development initiatives, building a high-performance sales team, defining our sales strategy, and ensuring a seamless customer acquisition journey with a successful transition to customer success.
- Customer Engagement: Initiate and engage in meaningful conversations with prospective customers to gain an understanding of their needs, challenges, and insights, and use these findings to influence our business strategy.
- Product Collaboration: Foster a close working relationship with the product team to convey user requirements and insights from sales calls, helping to shape and influence the product roadmap.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Define our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and develop a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at increasing revenue. Lead the sales team in executing this strategy efficiently.
- Business Development: Identify and nurture partnerships that can enhance our capabilities and expand our market presence.
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Develop and implement a robust GTM approach focusing on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Customer-Centric Solutions: Engage with key stakeholders to ensure we're tailoring our solutions to match their unique requirements.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and optimize the sales funnel performance.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the real estate tech or related industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded revenue targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using a variety of sales and marketing software tools.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- A demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
- A keen analytical mind, capable of using data to inform decisions.
- Familiarity with the real estate broker industry is a plus.
