Director of Finance

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Splash Financial is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee the Finance and Accounting. This critical department helps Splash develop and execute on its growth strategy by driving financial visibility and accountability, built on strong analysis and data. WHAT YOU'LL DO AT SPLASH:

• Be a strategic partner to the executive team to identify and monitor key performance indicators and develop actionable insights
• Prepare recommendations on incremental investment opportunities by weighing financial and strategic trade offs
• Update and run a three statement strategic operating model
• Lead, manage, and develop strategic finance associates and analysts
• Facilitate annual and quarterly financial forecasting for key initiatives in partnership with department leaders and in collaboration with stakeholders across marketing, product, and operations
• Enable the Marketing and Tech team to prioritize initiatives and make real-time decisions by evaluating and sizing impact to key growth and financial metrics
• Detailed analysis on Marketing Channel performance by product to drive efficiency
• Prepare quarterly internal and external materials to facilitate management discussion and analysis of key financial and business performance indicators
• Prepare quarterly board deck materials
• Learn new technologies and products constantly

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPLASH:

• 10+ years of related experience, ideally in corporate finance, investment banking, investment management, or consulting. FP&A experience a plus
• Experience building three statement operating models mandatory
• Highly analytical with an ability to create and execute independent analysis
• Excellent problem solver with a creative mind
• Extremely fast learner and very detail oriented
• Experience preparing and presenting information to key decision makers
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent knowledge (CFA, FP&A experience, Investment analyst)
