About the Finance Team
OJO’s Director of Finance will report into the VP of Finance and have a hand in shaping the strategic direction of our Finance organization. The role provides high visibility, serving as an integral advisor to the executive leadership team and our business partners throughout the organization.
What you'll do:
- Work with the VP of Finance to drive all corporate planning activities including owning the financial model to help create monthly forecasts and the annual operating plan
- Analyze operating and financial results as part of the monthly forecast process and ensure accurate and timely completion of all forecast deliverables (includes partnering with executives to prepare and analyze their month to month performance on revenue and expenses)
- Identify, track and manage key performance metrics across departments including Finance, Operations, Customer Success, Consumer Acquisition, and Product Management
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to create frameworks, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis that drive operational decisions such as pricing, strategic initiatives, staffing and overall resourcing within the company
- Drive financial and business reporting process including board and investor packages, bank compliance and other management reporting
- Create and maintain investor presentations and support investor relations activities
- Support corporate development and partnership initiatives
- Provide analysis of financial results and key metrics versus other leading competitors
What we need from you:

- Ability to create and manage complex financial models in Excel as well as leverage complex analytical tools and statistics to perform analysis and forecasting of financial and other business information. Extensive financial modeling experience required
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, adapt to rapid business changes, meet tight deadlines, and make decisions based on business priorities and objectives
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Sound analytical ability and business modeling skills
- 5-8 years of experience in an FP&A, corporate accounting, and/or public accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Software or technology experience and understanding of SaaS business operating frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written skills and a keen attention to detail
- Ability to drive cross functional collaboration
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and use of Google Workspace
Location: We are specifically looking to hire this position in the Austin, Texas area where we are headquartered but the role still offers hybrid work environment flexibility.
